Edit* recommend reading the comments over at OzBargain. A couple of users say that this deal is good if you're an existing user or are new and plan on keeping Google One. If not, be aware that:
- could lose data after two years of inactivity
- acc becomes heavily restricted if you cancel but are still using a lot of storage. E.g. unable to send or receive emails through Gmail.
- Perhaps create a new account just for storage so that your main account isn't affected.
Yep, not valid for my main account that already has an active subscription, but it worked for my second account
