Sonic Pro Electric Toothbrush - $59.99 Delivered @ Smile High Club

63

Looks like a NZ company making electric toothbrushes. Currently launch special is $59.99

We undertook extensive product research and testing before choosing the SonicPro. It was an absolute standout. It makes your supermarket brush feel and look like a tractor. It’s as good as the Philips SonicCare Diamond, and that’s $350. Sure, you get some useless accessories with that, but against $99? Are you crazy? But if you disagree, just send it back within 30 days and we will refund your money. No worries.

The SonicPro lasts an incredible 60+ days on a single 4hr charge.

  • But it's not round! Only round is good. Oral B said so. /s

LOL Philips would say otherwise. That's quite disputable in terms of which shape is better. Seems a good deal to me. But we just bought Oral B 7000 which was posted here last week. Otherwise will really consider this deal.

    • Isn't it more about the motion? Turning instead of vibrating?

Getting back on the brushes refill?

Cmiiw - $10 for each refill?

I hate big brands as the next person, but you can get Oral B's for <$5 each.

    • Yeah, the replacement cost seems a bit high, but I guess that's packaging in the free shipping into it.

"Ultrasonic" toothbrushes on Ali Express are as good as the expensive ones, and the replacement heads cost cents. So either get this or get one from AE. And I do highly recommend them. There's a certain point where the bristles move so fast that it's a different cleaning experience from an old-style electric toothbrush.

      They also look similar

Where do you think everything is made these days. New sellers have usually purchased an oem product and paid a bit extra to get a logo printed on them.

Reminds me of that bloke selling massage guns from Aliexpress and selling em locally for $200-400 ea.

            @Wakrak: Exactly!

My favourite is the one where you ask them to print the passed C-Tick logo etc as well as your branding.
They'll add it, with no idea or care what it's supposed to mean in your country.

          • @Wakrak: I mean, Warehouse and Kmart do this on a much larger scale with their house brands. Ali has just made it easy for any person to join in. Retail in general is just one person screwing over another person

            • @Plug: You're right. Just look at The Warehouse dumbells for example. Originally from Alibaba, seem pretty similar if not the same to the ones at Rebel Sport, Kmart, Elite Fitness, Hart, NZ Muscle etc etc. Can't help but chuckle at the price differences.

              • @Wakrak: Fitness is crazy lucrative right now, those cheap bits of iron coated in rubber or vinyl sell out as soon as shipments arrive. They must cost more to ship than produce

    • Which ones from ali express would you recommend?
I have been thinking about buying one but have been confused about the choices. A good electric brush with cheap brush replacement would be nice

Just some rebranded AliExpress crap. May as well get one from there.

I use the Philips Sonicare. Expensive but does the job. Their ultrasonic action is closer to what I'm used to with dental scaling machines- never got used to oral b and their big round brushes!

    • Same here. I figured that if it would help me avoid the dentist then it'll be well worth the money.

Bit misleading description , not a NZ company making electric toothbrushes , more like just another dropship store selling items available for half the price at aliexpress.

Agreed. "We do not have a company office. Outside of our production facility, our corporate team are all work-from-home remote specialists residing in 4 different countries (and timezones!)." but then in the FAQ they say "Shipping is free in New Zealand. We’re in Auckland."

Oclean toothbrushes are good value. I really like the quality of the head too.
