Very subjective answer here, as everyone's preferences are different.
I love my Sennheiser headphones that I use at home for music/movies, but if ANC and travelling is your objective, then you can't beat Bose and the Sony 1000XM series sets. I have currently (for ANC) the Bose QC35s and the latest Sony 1000XM4s, the latter is my daily driver for travelling to/from work and using it at work - in terms of ANC I don't see that much of a difference personally but the base is definitely more pronounced in the Sonys for me. The Bose are much lighter though in weight and even though both pairs are comfortable, I feel like the Bose ones win out ever-so-slightly in the comfort department. The Bose are intended to have neutral soundstage though, so again, this is a matter of preference.
How are these compared to Bose QC 35 ii? I have those and kinda jealous to sound and ANC quality of Sony 1000xm3.
