  • Lol… nice one

  • Was waiting a gaming monitor with IPS panel :(. Anyway, good find

    • depend on your budget, IPS 4k panel with 34 inch you are expecting 1.5k, whereas this is VA. I am not sure if you are willing to pay triple the price for a slightly better colour?

      • cause I have a samsung curved 24" gaming monitor which is VA panel, the colour differences between this one and my old AOC IPS monitor is huge, that's why i would like to have IPS monitor.

Might buy it, is 4ms delay a big difference?

    • depends if you're and fps gamer/esports and every frame matter then yes.
      Else no

      • I do consider myself an FPS gamer but I don't all the time, mainly playing multiplayer titles with friends. I'm basically sold on it already except people complaining about the VA panel smear

        • Yeah I've mainly used IPS my whole life so can't really help with the VA
but my brother has one and says its pretty amazing for its price.

you could call around your local pbtech/mi store and see if they have it on display for you to go checkout.

    • Bought this monitor for the wife from PBTech when they had it on something like $600~, she's been pretty happy with it so far for both gaming and work. She doesn't play FPS games though. My mate has the same monitor and he plays some FPS, no complaints so far either.

I got this: https://www.dell.com/en-nz/shop/dell-27-gaming-monitor-s2721… for myself because I don't need a widescreen. If you don't mind a smaller screen and a bit of a wait time, the S271DGF is highly recommended.

      • Widescreen isnt a selling point for me, with a GTX 1070 I would struggle anyway. This looks like a very good monitor and its IPS too! Is the best price it goes for or should I wait a little longer for a deep sale?

  • Price has been increased from $547.18 to $557.20

  • Are these actually any good? I keep seeing them show up on here and they seem like an absolute steal for the price, but also kind of seems too good to be true. What's the catch?

    • I assume that the only catch is that this is the chinese version which you can change the language to english anyway. this is 799 on pbtech so this is a good price.

    • Outstanding Value based on HUB's testing

    • When buying monitors off the internet you run the risk of warranty claim nightmares if there's a defect or damage during shipping. AFAIK Xiaomi doesn't have a local repair agent for monitors.

With some curved monitors damage can even occur if the box is placed one side facing up, so in this case the optional shipping insurance may be worth it.

  • I'm seeing the price at US$638.99 reduced from US$895.99 which is -29%

Sorry was looking at CN warehouse

  • how does the warranty works? it wont be cover by NZ CGA right?

  • Make sure you pay with PayPal if you're not buying the shipping insurance.
