To celebrate our bigger bubble roaming in Aussie is on us - On Prepay and Pay Monthly Plans until 31 July.

You don’t need to switch anything on or fiddle with settings. Get off the plane and get on with your trip. Just use your plans NZ Calls, text and Data like you are at home.

Tip - Use spend control on your Pay monthly account just encase something pop's up - Make sure you have access to the 2degrees App, so if your on Prepay you can check your usage, If you are on a Endless Plan you don't need to check! Stream way! (Up to 1GB per day max speed)

Use your plan’s NZ calls, texts and data at no extra cost in Aussie for up to 90 days per year or for $7 per day in up to 100 selected destinations. After 1GB of max speed data per day max speeds reduce to 128Kbps. A day is 00:00 to 23:59 NZ time. When roaming in Fiji, Cook Islands, Western Samoa, Vanuatu, Tonga and Papa New Guinea it costs $1 per minute to receive calls (It’s best for you to call your family and friends). Exclusions apply including the International Chat Pack and international calls are subject to NZ international call rates. In $7 per day destinations, the daily rate applies each day you use your phone, including to make or receive calls (including via voicemail), send texts or use data. 300kbps max speeds apply in some destinations. Cruise ship and in-flight roaming are subject to different rates. Fair Use Policy, Daily Roaming and Plan Terms and Conditions apply.

  • Nice to see.

    Coming from an EU country (where iinternational roaming charges are capped) the roaming charges here are beyond belief!

    I know of some poor people who have come back from holiday with phone bills in exess of $1k for using 200mbs!

    There should be some international standard to prevent price gouging of this kind.

    Wonder will Spark or Vodafone have any response.

  • Probably cheaper to buy OZ sim card

    • For most I would guess probabily not, especially if you have a contract. Also saves on the hassle of having to use a different number.

      Happy to be corrected with examples though.

        • A bit unclear what the cost is here for the SIM and Data.

          What I tend to do is fluctuate between the 2 degrees pay monthly plans depending what my data balance is.

          If I was travelling to Australia for a long weekend with this promo I Probabily wouldn't need to purchase any thing or change my SIM.
