Bissell Powerforce Helix Upright Vacuum - $99 (+~ $5.95 Shipping) @ Harvey Norman

220

Very good value for money vacuum cleaner - the reviews speak for themselves. I was both disgusted and amazed at how much extra dust this vacuum picked up compared to my old one.

Could pricematch at The Warehouse if this is more convenient for you, and could use the code mentioned here https://www.cheapies.nz/node/28186 for $5 off.

I rock one of these, surprisingly good for a budget vacuum

That's a super sharp price. The same model is selling for $219 at TWH and US$54 at Walmart. I paid $110 from HN in April and couldn't be happier with it's performance.

Just bought a stick vacuum from Kogan during the free shipping period, not happy with the suction…should have go for this one instead!!

Hi~ why you can get 10% off…and-10…can you explain this for me please…want to get this good deal

      • +2

10% discount on price match + $10 off using the codes from the other Warehouse post from yesterday or earlier today.

        • Did you or anyone contacted them via their online form? I see many users have recommended contacting them via chat, I tried yesterday and today, they seem to be "offline" all the time

            @Wellyboy19: Response from chat:

I would like to apologise for we cannot have this price beat for this is currently in Special pricing in the competitors website. Please see this link https://help.thewarehouse.co.nz/Help/s/article/Price-promise and Products lowered in price cannot be combined with any other TWL or competitor’s promotion or credit offer, or with any trade terms, direct purchasing from the supplier, limited quantity offers or internet only retailers.

            • @pravonline: I don't get that.. how is it being combined with another TWL promotion?
I get this if the vacuum at TWL was buy vacuum and get 20 packets of soup. eg. Price promise + soup.
Or if Harvey Norman was buy vacuum and get a $50 voucher. Wouldn't expect TWL to be price promise + voucher, or price promise - $50..

All you are wanting is a reduction of a competitors current pricing.

              • @Foodie: Yes before I could ask them ask and explain to that them, they had ended the chat immediately on me and then went offline 😔

                • @pravonline: That's a bugger.
Try in store if you can, harder to flip you off

            • @pravonline: they seem to be avoiding online chat by the looks of it, thanks for the update

            • @pravonline: I managed to get a price match via online chat (at TWH) the other night than messaged them again today for a price beat which was approved. Picked it up this evening using click and collect, paid $79.20 i believe. I would say depending on who you get via the online chat determines the outcome

    • Newbie here.. Could you tell me what the codes are for $10off and free shipping pls. And how do you price match online? Thanks!

      • Via the online chat

    • Got the price beat for $79 on the third online customer rep. Awesome deal!

i got one cheaper but this is a great deal, i also managed to get it price matched at the warehouse with i think 10% off. i love mine, doesn't feel as strong as the older models but its been great for me for ages

  • +1

    Thanks OP just bought one

  • How does this compare with higher end but over-marketed brands like dyson?
Yep, I’m asking to compare $100 and $700 units 😅

    • +1

I've never tried a Dyson, but this makes me feel like I don't need to 😎. It's obviously a lot more bulky than a Dyson but for $100 you can't really go wrong.

  • Have got one of these. Bought at HN last xmas for $89. Working perfectly. Im amazed how much more it can pull out of the carpet than my normal vacuum. 100% recommend buying one.

  • Tempted to buy this, but still using that infamous $59 Warehouse/Tesco model and still going strong. I assume they will be similar in performance. Same with that infamous budget Kmart model as well for around $99 also.

  • Anyone have any insight around how the wattage reflects on suction?
eg. How would a 2200w bagged compare with this 1000w unbagged?

  • +1

Doesn't have a secondary filter and the whole system leaks heaps of micro dust particles.
