Thank you! Just got the Xiaomi Mi Dashcam 1S for $89

    • Interested in pulling the trigger. Anyone got real feedback on this one? Is the picture quality good? Specifically during night.

  • Been thinking about getting this monitor, seems pretty bang for the buck at 489 shipped

    Thoughts?

    • I've got a phillips 32 144hz / 1440p and its great, though as I've changed to mostly playing single player games, I would pick a 4k/60hz if I did it again.

Takes more GPU grunt to run 144hz at 1440p than 4K

      • I wouldn't expect to be hitting 144hz at 1440p tbh, thats more like a pipedream with my 1070, I would be hoping for 60 at least and if I need the 144 I can downscale to 1080p to get it more consistently.

The only 4k monitor they have available is a Kogan branded one which is an IPS panel. I was just thinking though, if I use my current 1080p 144hz monitor as a second one and for games when I want 144, and the 4k one for my singleplayer games or when I just need 60 if that would work better. But having the 144 to the side could be a bit weird when gaming

    • a lot cheaper than PB tech, reviews look good

I got one of these last time. It's great, gets hot really fast. https://www.dicksmith.co.nz/dn/buy/kogan-23l-1700w-digital-a…

  • Perfect timing. just used up my last 200 coffee capsules

    • What flavour did you go for?

    • Just bought a hundred yesterday at 15 shipping. Damn

  • Keen to purchase a TV. Anyone have experiences with their warranty?

    • Not a TV, but a monitor I ordered was faulty on arrival (Not Doa, but the panel had been damaged). They sent a shipping label, after a few emails back and forward, to return to an NZ address, picked it up, and sent another one, it was pretty seamless.

If you’re not keen on dealing with dicksmith, mightyape is owned by kogan now, and they will price match dicksmith for any kogan branded TV’s. Worked for me last time and MA even beat the price by $30
