I want like a miniature roomba to clean my teeth

    • Reminds me of that SNL sketch for Woomba female hygiene lol

  • I bought a Philips Sonicare for like $400 a few years ago and it's been an amazing investment. Cleans teeth like no other. Would highly recommend an electric toothbrush to everyone.

    • Is there much of a difference between an expensive one to supermarket Oral B that we get for $25 when it’s 50% off? Having a hard time justifying the extra but if it will save on dentist trips, might try it

        Get a 1000 or 2000.

The cheap $25 only don't pulsate, only oscillate. Ie 2D clean.

The expensive ones just pulsate and oscillate slightly faster than the basic 3D, which you may not even want, as well have some gimmicks wrt app and smartness.

In terms of cleaning and bang for buck whatevers cheapest out of the
        base oral b 1000 or 1500 or 2000 or 3000.

Those ones are all the same just different amount of accessories and brush heads included.

        • just checked mine, mine is Oral B pro 700 - good enough?
asking just because you seem like an expert lol

          • @samamatara: The $25 ones at the supermarket are good for testing to see if you like using an oscillating head brush. But the more expensive ones are way quicker and better for cleaning. Main things to look for:
            - Go for a Lithium battery one - I traveled for almost a month with no charging on my 2000. It has lasted longer than the 2yrs I normally got from a $25 one
            - 3D cleaning ones
            - A pressure sensor maybe good for a beginner user
            - Check for best pulsate and oscillate speed bang for buck

  • Any deals on genuine brush heads? I've bought cheapie knock off heads before but they are poor quality.

    • Look for ones on amazon. I can't tell the difference feeling or appearance wise between the og and the heads i bought.

Good reviewed ones with a 4.5 rating across 1000s of reviews

    • Shavershop & Chemist Warehouse could be good places to look too. Or pricebeat @ The Warehouse

  • I had a 3d until I went to the dentist and found that I brushed off the dentin.

    • too much friction?, my dentist told me to use a soft head due to gum receding.
