I'm looking for something to alert me when someone approaches the front door. This might be ok for that price.
After 2 years could sell it (for a few dollars) and buy a newer model.Have you considered wyzecam? Is cheaper and has local storage
Looks good. Where do you recommend buying from, Amazon?
@RockCartel: Yep I have 4 v2s and 1 pan that I bought from Amazon. Been running them for about 2 years now.
Can vouch for the v2s but haven't looked into v3s, so I suggest doing a comparison before pulling the trigger 👍
@tariq: V3 is way better, doesn't need IR at night time. I have both V3 and V2
Feel like I should get something. The Wyze looks good but has some quite bad reviews on Amazon?
@hiimpengu: The Wyze Cam v3 was US$30(+shipping and GST) so I'm gonna wait for that price https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B08R59YH7W
(for a few dollars)
Like your enthusiasm, but can't help laughing a bit.
I have Eufy 2k Pan & tilt. Bought for around $75 from Aliexpress. And can say it's one of the best indoor cam. Human & pet detection is good. Also night vision is pretty good.
I've got one of those pan and tilt Eufy's,the only problem is the cat a attacks it so I had to take it off pet mode.
Be warned, the advertised "store video for free" is only available for 2 years, after which you have to pay around $6 per month per camera for cloud storage. Combined with this camera having no local storage, it becomes pretty useless without that $6 per month.
