  I bought a pair. Compared to rs120 they are more bass heavy, I had a bit of static on the rs120 which is noticeable if the volume is high and there is a quiet part in the movie. The RS175 doesn't have this problem because it uses a digital RF wireless signal. The rs175 isn't quite as comfortable because it feels a bit tighter, it also blocks our a lot of outside noises whereas the ear muffs on the rs120 were less isolating.

  The reason why you would choose an RF headphone over a Bluetooth headphones is there is no latency (audio lag/delay). The other advantage is that you can add a second headphone if you wish.

    I had a pair of RS120 and they are just trash compared RS175's. I did modify the RS175's with some cloth covered RS185 ear cushions for $25. One of the good things that manufactures don't like doing is the rechargeable batteries are just 2 standard AAA's. I've had these earphones for 4 years now with the original batteries.

      Did you find the rs175 cushions are pressing too hard just below your ears?

      Do the replacement cushions allow more outside sound to get through? , because I would prefer it if they were less isolating so I can hear the kids crying if they need attention.

        The cloth covered ones are a lot softer and seem to have less pressure. I think they probably have the same isolation and I prefer that so I don't have to hear my children ha ha (a lot older than yours but I see what you mean) .I got those cloth cushions from Computer lounge on sale four years ago for $25 and thought I just try them out and now I prefer them.

    That's a wired headphone :) So many good wired options, very little low latency wireless options.
