  • SOOO TEMPTED but I may be upgrading my Canon which will be using CF cards instead :((

  • Why do I want this when I can’t even fill up a 128gb card… I’m blaming the cheapies effect

  • Just a support post, these are the only cards I use in my cameras now and they've been excellent. Fast and reliable to date.

  • Just note that these cards are UHS-I which is relatively old technology so if you do any video work, use a sensor larger than 24MP or want to use burst fire then you'll want something a lot faster.

Also, how likely is it for someone to utilise 1TB of storage on their camera? Highly unlikely unless you're using the SD card as your primary source of storage which is risky given the failure chance of SD cards and lack of redundancy.

  • Small tip if you havn't experienced it yet: If you're lucky your SD card will flip into a permanent read-only mode shortly before dying.

So if you suddenly find you can't write to your sd card get your stuff off there pronto. Obviously this is different than the write-protect switch on the side of the SD card.

  • What would be warranty claim process from Amazon AU, if need be?
