Seems to be a great price for the Space Grey version. Silver is $1918.
Usual retail is $2029. This price comes in even lower than the Apple Education store.
It does say it's a Direct Import international version, which is why I've not (yet) pulled the trigger.

Yes, they indicate it will be covered under their customer charter and CGA. For a product in this price range they indicate they will cover faults for 2 years…..
Dick Smith will assess the product, at no cost to the customer, to determine whether the product is defective, and if so, the cause of the fault within a reasonable time frame. If a fault is identified and is not excluded then a free repair will be provided at a nominated repair centre. Should Dick Smith or an authorised repair centre be unable to repair the goods within a reasonable time frame, then the customer can request that a replacement is provided. You may still be entitled to an automatic replacement or full refund under the Consumer Guarantees provided under the CGA.
Dick Smith and Kogan are not authorised Apple retailers therefore any repairs would be done by them with third party parts or they would have to arrange repair from Apple NZ themselves. I've had a few warranty claims with dick Smith ,Kogan and been resolved by replacement with me binning the faulty item.
