This is $112.5 worth of value for $1.99. 300*0.75 = $2.25 off per litre of fuel * 50 litre = $112.5
Otherwise, new world dollars would be 300/28 * $5 = $53.57 for each time done
Not sure yet how many times it can be done on each account but could be once for every card.

        Agreed! Is it too far to say I am lodging a complaint with the Commerce Commission for a breach of the very terms and conditions they created? …. Asking for a friend lol

        • It's good to put them on ComCom's radar, but given their size, they will be able to find some excuses out of it.

          No, let's not be a dick about this; let them remedy the situation by themselves.
          Why are Cheapies so quick to report stuff to Commerce Commission? Do we just feel entitled?

      Same, had that reply last week and haven't heard from them ever since. Its been more than 5 days and still waiting for a reply.

    • Had the same response from them on Friday and was told that it would be passed onto their admin team for review.

      Hoping I get the points soon!

    • Signed up on 14th Nov and still no points.

      My 25 business days were up last Friday so gave them a call this morning. They said request will be send to the team and points should be allocated
      within 5 business days.

    It's now 25 working days for me. Started the "investigation" and they told me that I can expect the points between the 11-14th of Jan 2022.

      It should be as simple as flipping the switch. The points should arrive instantly without delay.

  • They told me they were 'starting an investigation' and they would get back to me in about three days, it's been five.
    This is also the second time I've emailed them about it, they haven't actually got back to me on both occasions.

    • Yes, email is kind of worthless since they can just ignore it. Harder to ignore if you call them though.

      You can blame the delay squarely on that Flybuys employee who probably told his bosses that everyone on Cheapies is exploiting the offer. So now they are triple checking every single account that has signed up. Probably checking if there are multiple sign ups per household. Normally I think they would just give you the 300 points straight away if your Flybuys email matches up with your Disney+ account.

    • Was told that their Disney+ contact was away on holiday and won’t be back till Jan 10th so I emailed them again with all my details such as the ones that one of the posters have commented further up and they got back to me and said they have forwarded it to their admin team and will be in touch once they hear back from them.

    Signed up November 9. Cancelled before paying $12.99 a month. Emailed them twice with no response.

    • Hmm ok this is interesting. I had my rewards set to Z fuel. Mine has just showed up in my activity history as being processed on the 15th of November (there was nothing there as of this morning and was waiting for points like everyone else)

      Now my points are nowhere to be seen as I am presuming it thinks the points on the Z fuel have expired being a new month.

      @Wakrak. When does it say you points were added on your activity history out of curiosity?

          I only sent them an email today regarding missing points so does not seem to be a squeaky wheel situation.

      • Worst case you will still have until the 31st Dec to redeem your fuel at Z.
        The fuel discount always expires at the end of the following month, not the month of the transaction that gave the points.

        • If it's just been received it will expire end of next year January. The transaction date is just for a reference and doesn't affect anything. For it to expire in December it would have to be received in November

      Points showing as allocated on 15 Nov.

  • Yes, mine finally showed up after contacting them.

  • Mine showed up! $1.99 for $50+ New World Dollars is a bargain I'd take any day.
    Also, I forgot to cancel the Disney+ subscription, but after contacting support they refunded me very quickly and even allowed me to have that extra month for free.

    • That's very generous that they offered to refund you the extra month. The terms are no refunds.

      • It may be due to me mentioning how I never used the account during the initial month. I also contacted them only a few hours after I noticed the payment in my account, so that may be another factor. The support member was very friendly and didn't ask any probing questions.

        Who knows? Maybe they offer refunds in certain conditions without publically stating the eligibility for a refund. I would assume that would be to prevent people from making multiple accounts, requesting a refund and getting a free month.

        The only mention of a refund on their help centre is:
        'When will I get my refund?
        If you subscribed directly through Disney+ and have been approved for a refund through Customer Support, you should see the relevant charges on your credit card reversed within 7 days. Please note to the relevant store policies to learn more about the time required to process any refund requests…'

        • I think its just due to the staff being able to provide a refund easily. Some companies require more than one person to process a refund

  • Got mine this morning. Whilst it's hardout appreciated they were pretty tough to deal with. Had a phone conversation yesterday where I was told yet another different story. Anyways grateful for the deal
