  Otherwise they're great kit, and this is a great deal on them. ~$70 cheaper than some already decent deals at PB and NL.

    I was really keen on these a few weeks ago and started checking reviews. Came across a few references to being “always connected to tp-link”, which concerned me. Someone with more network knowledge may know why - I suspect it’s something to do with threat protection of some sort.
