    Adidas has boxing Day sale starting now if you sign up to become a member (free). It's 30% off everything full priced, from memory a pair of shoes is $11 postage but if you spend >$150 it's free postage. You can also use the boxing Day discount in advance in store at selected stores, see the website for details.

          Historically they would give you gift cards based on spending. Eg. Spend $300 get $50 mitre10 gift card

    Just a tip for anyone looking to get the kids school stationery for next year.
    The Warehouse / Warehouse Stationery will have boxing day sales but the cheapest time to get what you need will be about the middle of January.
    Their 'Back to School' sales generally get progressively cheaper each week from now, as the stores fight each other for cheapest price points.
    Sometimes you run the risk that things can go out of stock but if budget is the main concern then I would wait.

    As always with these sort of things, Go in store for big ticket items (like Tv's and washers) for places like HN and NL (just avoid the 26th itself if you dont like crowds, I sure dont!) but even 5% of 2 grand is worth it to me imo.

    You'll (almost always) get a bit off the top in exchange for a warranty pitch. (This was absolutely the case for LG C1 65 over black friday… because we did that!)

        Funny timing. Was just thinking of PB Tech. They use the word crazy to describe their boxing day sale, but most items seem to have the same discount they receive in every other PB Tech sale.

    looking at upgrading my old soundbar (Samsung HW-H450)
    I think I've settled on a LG SP70Y with the SPK8-S rear speaker add-on for about $700 all up.

    My TV is an older KD49-X9000E from 2017 which doesn't support Dolby Atmos etc so this is probably overkill, but I was thinking of upgrading the TV maybe next boxing day 2022 and would plan to reuse the soundbar.
    Otherwise I was thinking a lower end LG soundbar with the rear speakers, are the rear speakers works bothering with? Samsung also do a rear speaker kit so I was also considering the HW-Q600A.
