  IMO its value dropped a lot in the past year. A lot of cafes and restaurants no longer partner with them, and the remaining venues aren’t always super attractive. ymmv

    I agree - compared to, say, ten years ago, the value is nowhere near as good.

    We used to buy the book (as was) for something like $50 (can't remember exactly), and easily got our money back if we used it twice, anything more was a clear bonus, and it was very easy to find places to use it.

    I had a look through the offers today, and whilst we would probably still get our money back, its far less compelling than it used to be.

    Barely used any of the vouchers in the past couple of years due to all the lockdowns in Auckland so might give this one a miss. As @eh mentioned above YMMV

  Yeah it hasn't been fantastic in the last year or two. Covid hasn't helped for businesses so that might have a part to play in the deals offered. Used to like the 2 for 1 deals and would pretty much make your money's worth back easily with just a few meals. The apps changed abit too and not as user friendly. Doesn't help when businesses close down and you don't know until you get there too!
