That's not how it works.
15% of $19.89 is $2.98
$19.89-$2.98 is $16.90 (actually $16.91)
Fastest way I work this out is just multiply $19.89 x 0.85 = $16.90

I bought a couple of kiwicare products before (no spider, ant gel etc) and they are quite disappointing (compare to advion for example)
Agree. The only thing you'll be rid of buying their products is your hard-earned cash.

Unfortunately, I haven't found anything decent recently :( Most pest products seem to have been watered down or taken from the market in recent years. Probably because they're, y'know, poisonous.
The array of (mostly Kiwicare now in Bunnings and Mitre 10) products are close to useless, and I've tried a lot: ant sand, ant bait, bug spray, cat and dog repellent, cockroach bait. I've given up on the brand entirely, wasted far too much money on them. I'm investigating Borax for ants, don't have a solution for the others yet.
@CheapAzChips: If you haven't tried Exterm-an-ant then highly recommend you give it a go. Have tried so many others, this one actually works and gets rid of ants.

I was planning to purchase some kiwicare products until I read the product reviews on the mitre10 website and they were scathing. I check online and lots of people recommended using borax, so I might give it a go one day.

It’s a different active ingredient to Kiwicare but still in the same family of synthetic pyrethroids.
I found it helpful to have the surface as clean as possible first and then spray.
They are residual so should stay on the surface for a while but if you clean it again afterwards (or heavy rain if not protected) then it won’t last as long.
Just buy one bottle on price match rather than two.
Bunnings at $19.89 per bottle retail comes down to $16.90 at M10 taking 15% off.
It's also much easier as matching BOGOF deals is sometimes a struggle.
