With the username @Monk, wouldn't think this would be a problem?

The answer is actually yes, but it's a bit more complicated. It's all about understanding your spouse's cycle, i.e.
period —> not going to get pregnant [1] —> ovulation —> not going to get pregnant [2] —> period

Sperm can last for several days (5 I think) so ovulation test strips are not that useful for finding out when the not getting pregnant stage [1] ends. However if you use a test strip every day around the expected ovulation date, you'll see it be positive for one or more days, and then go negative. Add on a couple of days after it's negative for safety, but from that point until her next period you should be mostly safe to bang without other forms of contraception.

As always, I don't recommend taken contraception advice from randos on the Internet.

    • This is a good deal too but the postage is $5.95 for under $100. Thanks for sharing.

That’s with delivery factored in. Your deal is better, I just like to provide alternative options. Thanks for posting OP.

  • OT but Anyone have delays with amazon au? I ordered computer parts on 17th and not shipped yet. They were in stock when I ordered.

    • My orders were from the start of January but they arrived in good time. Had one order expected to arrive today but got it in the mailbox on the 24th. Came from China.

    • My order was made on 19th, got it today (ETA was 4/2 tho).

    • computer parts

That's probably the problem. Had an item that shipped 13th arrived 17th (would've been a day earlier if it wasn't the weekend). It seems there is a difference when they send with NZ Post as opposed to when they send with DHL. DHL is much faster from my experience.

  • If you really want to save some money I'd recommend not getting these and getting condoms instead.. kids cost a fortune.

The simple $1/test strips are just as reliable as the digital ones. These are the ones used by doctors. Not only save money, but much less unrecyclable waste.
