SHARK CORDED STICK VACUUM WITH SELF CLEANING BRUSHROLL HZ390

Been waiting for this to come back into stock. Get 5% off if you enter the coupon helloshark 299.99 special price minus 5%.

It’s corded and relatively heavy at just under 5kg. Good size capacity dust bin. I find these clean well and are cheaper than Dyson.

  • Thanks, been looking for one for a while. I trust you have done your research properly so I just went straight ahead and got one. Didn't want to get a cordless stick vacuum because the batteries on them tend to crap out within a few years.
Any reason why you chose to get this one? For just $100 more you can get an upright as well or the more expensive corded stick.
Seems like the major difference between this and the other corded stick is that one has a power upholstery brush

Saw a notification saying 2 were purchased in the last 12 hours, must be you and me then.

    • Yes I got one. The main thing that sold me on this one was the close to 1 litre dust container. The more expensive one has a smaller container as well as a shorter power cord. I’ve had the hv380 for 5 years and loved it. Just a bit tired and beaten up now.

The major consideration. Is the weight.

I had an upright shark before this one (about 8-9 years old) and I have lots of stairs in my new house. I need a stick to get up and down those stairs so ruled out upright

Hope that clarifies my thinking. Hope it works out for you.

      • Thanks, I did research after I bought it and it seems to be quite good. This one is a bit on the heavier side for a stick vacuum but still a lot lighter than an upright. I feel like it will suit my needs very well.

  • Also forgot to mention the signup code is helloshark

  • Price looks like it has gone back up to $549

    • Indeed it has. Sorry team. I have expired the deal

    • FYI. The price has returned to $299.
      I just got one.

      Thanks Bob for sharing this.
I've been looking to replace our broken vacuum.

  • +1

I just bought a vacuum recently too. I was originally looking at bissel and shark upright cleaners, but then decided to get the Miele c3 turbo. I'm happy with the purchase. There are four versions of the Miele c3

Standard version no hepa no turbo brush

Turbo version, with second turbo brush but no hepa filter.

Allergy version with hepa filter, no turbo brush.

Cat and dog version with hepa filter and turbo brush.

The turbo brush is a second vacuum head that has rotating stiff brushes powered by the air flow designed to pick up animal hairs from the carpet. If you don't have pets you don't need the turbo brush, it's really not needed because the vacuum is so strong and of you do have the turbo brush you will need to clean the hairs out of the brush from time to time. I recommend not getting the turbo brush as it probably wears out your carpet too.

If you want to add a hepa filter you can use the Noel leeming CSC discount and buy 8x bags and a hepa filter for about $60 (it's called the Miele XL pack) and then just put in the hepa filter as I'm pretty sure it's an otherwise identical machine. I've bought this and put the hepa filter into my vacuum.

The turbo version is a really nice white colour it looks quite stylish it makes my wife happy.

The bags are about $4-5 each for original branded bags and supposed to last a month, I haven't filled up a bag yet but I so far they look to last longer than a month for us they are quite big.

I've come from a Dyson V6 and Xiaomi robot vacuum. The robot isn't used because we have young kids with toys everywhere and the Dyson just isn't that strong a vacuum and the filters on it are not good, we have to replace the battery around 2.5 years at a cost of $100.

On retrospect I should of just got the cheapest version of the C3 which goes down to $399 on special then added the XL pack with 8 bags and hepa filter for additional $60.

    • Hepa filter is quite important for me, it shouldn't be considered as only for people with allergies. The Miele with a space for the hepa filter yet not including the hepa filter is quite puzzling to me.

I couldn't find the standard version you listed, they are all named strangely which makes it hard to tell what they are. Is it the family all rounder?

      • Probably is. If it goes down to 399 intermittently then that's the basic standard one I believe.

        • There might be a few subtle difference as well because I think the car and dog night have a fragrance thing??? They have multiple models on display at some shops so you can interrogate then physically to confirm things .

  • Thanks OP! Have just bought one too. My 7 year old Electrolux has broken and temporarily fixed with duct tape, waiting for a deal like this.

  • Thank you - needed a new vac, and got mitre 10 to sell me one for $299 (vs $285, but waiting on delivery)
