Are these any good for hoarding petrol?
I wouldn't.
They are not designed to hold corrosive substances like fuel so may well end up leaking.
Also, fuel will go stale if you leave it too long.
I would spend a bit more and buy a proper fuel container.Yep 70 L bomb
70L exceeded the limit you can store at home, might become complicated if anything happens, eg. insurance, etc. Also no rubber seal, not sure they are 100% air tight or not.
Once the tax relief comes off there a potential 25c a litre profit to be made!
Well in that case I recommend plastic shopping bags cos they're free and you can keep lots of them in your car so anytime you see cheap petrol you can stop and fill them up.
