You can't trust the prices Book Depository shows you, if you load the same page on mobile/desktop sometimes the same books are different prices. If you use a VPN to access the site from another country after currency conversion books can be cheaper too. Much like flight travel websites I tend not to give such a business my money.
Book Depository showing different prices for different locations is well known e.g. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=12855351 https://www.reddit.com/r/australia/comments/8305zg/reminder_… https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/607332 https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2011/01/whats-the-difference-b… https://www.reddit.com/r/BookDepository/comments/vmigqb/is_t… . It's generally speculated to be how they cope with different delivery costs & tax rates when sending to different locations while offering a "worldwide" price. IIRC when I did some of my own testing a few years back, although certain locations tended to be more expensive and some cheaper some books bucked the trend possibly based on publisher restrictions or something (my own guess), so it's always worthwhile checking a few.
Thought I would mention a great website to compare book prices in $NZ. Has saved me a lot of money over the years.
