Saw this news today and then also booked my flights to Sydney during the holiday period.

It is the cheapest ones during the end of the year holiday to Aussie compared to other airlines. For instance, return flight from AKL - SYD, leave on 24th Dec and return on 8th Jan only $418. You would get the same price if you are departing AKL on 20, 21,21,24,26 Dec, returning around 8th Jan

If you sign up with them the fare will be even few dollars cheaper down to $415

  This is a great deal for that time of year. Their 3rd attempt at the NZ market. Hope they hang around this time.

    they seem to be going big with the relaunch, since they havent flown to london in ages. good time to get into nz again, given competition levels are much lower than pre pandemic. hopefully using sydney instead of gold coast makes it sustainable for them.
