Jaycar are having a "up to 90% off" Sale at their Mt Wellington branch. A huge range of products.

I bought the 3D printer for $149. Also had 240p projectors for $50. 50m HDMI fibre-optic cable for $50 (down from $250). Beanies with miner's lights for $5. LOADS of remote control cars, helicopters etc. Portable refrigerators were very popular. Official USB-C Raspberry PI 3A power supplies for $5. 10K power bank for $10. Some extremely nice looking bluetooth speakers.

There were queues in and out the doors, with most people carrying huge boxes of stuff. Probably for on-selling, or stocking fillers :-)

  It's not quite that league, but it's not a million miles away from it either. Definitely had the "grab bags" with misc ICs for a few dollars. I had fun.
