  • Be careful with these. They did a recall not so long ago due to issues with the Battery I believe.

I rate the V10-V12 as being sufficient.

    • +3

I have a V15 and have had no issues. I don't believe there has ever been any recall on the V15s and cannot find any info on google either.

    • Same as above. Can't find any recalls. Maybe an isolated issue or a bad batch? Do you have more info? Almost on the fence to buy it.

  • Purchased, this is the deal we'd been waiting for. Thanks!

  • Got a V11 where the main unit died after 3 years and Dyson replaced the part free of charge no questions asked. the standard warranty is 2 years although at that price I would expect it to last 5.

    still good customer service.

    • Did you buy it directly from Dyson? We bought one from HN and when it broke out of warranty, HN asked us to pay for the parts.

      • Maybe you can contact Dyson directly in that case.

      • Purchased from themarket/NL, get in touch with Dyson directly they are more helpful than the retailers.

        • Wish I had learnt this earlier.

          • @xsolider: I would normally go directly to the brand in case they have NZ support office rather than retailer as they always have chain issues. Has always worked for me in better way and mostly free if it's a genuine issue.

    • Same. Good customer service.

Have a v6 bought from JB hifi. Battery dead after 3 years, contacted Dyson direct ready to argue with CGA if they refused but they gave me replacement battery free of charge. Then a year later the battery dead again. Contacted them again and gave me another battery.

  • Dammit I just bought one last week at $1314!!

  • Any chance the market will refund me the difference?

    • You can check for return policy. Buy this and return it with the old receipt. That might work out.

      • Oooh I like your thinking! It was bought on The Market via Noel Leeming.
