Going to cost a lot more than this! Although, you're right, I think it's worth waiting maybe this goes further down.
Agreed! I'd love to get my hands on one of those. The only issue with that is we'll likely have to buy them parallel imported into NZ.

My one of these takes 3 times as long as my other google devices to answer a question - very annoying and had to stop using it in the main room. Tried all forms of troubleshooting but had no luck, multiple factory resets.
Honestly, some of my first gen ones (even the google home mini) have slowed down in terms of responses. Not terrible, but not ideal. Not sure if it's the devices, or google doing it on purpose.
Same with mine, used to answer a lot quicker in the past.
And for some reason now when I ask it to play Brian FM Nelson, Tune in plays something else for 30 seconds or so then changes to the right stream.
Mine was amazing the first few months but yes have been noticeably slow and mistake prone since the updates
I will say one thing for it.. it hears very well. I have it turned down to the lowest setting for picking up voice, and it still answers from half the house away when i'm speaking to a different one right in front of me.

Unfortunately sold out at the market and NL. But its currently available at JB for $78. You can ask warehouse (online chat) to price match with JB, which then stacks with their existing $5 off $50+, that makes the price $73.00 (+ delivery or pickup). Not as good as the deal above but not too bad.
