The 8gb of ram is upgradable as is the storage. DDR5 RAM is more expensive than DDR4 so bear that in mind.
This works out cheaper than the 3050 laptops I've seen locally (e.g. https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NBKMSI63440I/MSI-GF63-Thin-…).

Good find. The CPU on this one looks to be a step up over the i5 (6 vs 4 cores) so it depends what you're after.
Total: $1,279.62
Ideally you wanna keep it under $1000 because if they sting you with duty and all their ridiculous fees customs will add about 250-350 to that price.
This is under $956 nz shipped excluding GST does that make it exempt or is it the post tax price which is assessed?
I thought Amazon usually covers taxes
Good deal, might have to change the power plug + risk custom tax.
this seems a little better spec wise for a higher price but it's local.

i5 12500h CPU is faster + local warranty makes this competitive IMO.Local equivalent if you want to wait till Dell has a sale.
