I've been keen to try these out, as they are much more convenient spacewise than a waterpik. Any feedback on these?

I wouldn't recommend getting cordless ones. The battery in those die easily after 1 year and become less effective over time. I had a portable waterpik and ended up getting a corded one later on.

  I decided to go for this Philips one, can’t fit a corded one in the bathroom.
  
  The Philips one has a lithium ion battery which hopefully should have a longer life than the NiMh battery in all of the waterpik cordless.
