I may be biased: https://www.cheapies.nz/node/37765
Same price at Z Manukau as well for sharetank.
Also fyi: according to gaspy mobil Otara 91 @ $1.70
Thats incorrect i believe
It has had 10 price confirmations… I drive past there in the afternoon back home so will have a look!
And it was a lie!! Mobil rebelling (was $2.30 with the smiles discount)
so you are saying i should buy some in the app before the price changes?
Chances are Z will have the $2.19 for at least the rest of today. Also my message above was for the price at Mobil at the time
The fuel cost has dropped quite a bit in the past few weeks. No idea what's going on there. Even in Christchurch, lots of Zs today have petrol 91 for $2.37. It comes down to $2.27 after 10c off.
Sub $2 fuel, Christmas came early https://www.cheapies.nz/node/37951
Damn, beat me to it! Feel free to copy / steal the details from here: https://www.cheapies.nz/node/37765 - I added a FAQ section below to save people from asking
Thanks OP!
Bought 55L of 95 in south AKL, just redeemed it at Z Silverdale and saved almost $30 :))
For those wondering about using a simple GPS spoofing app to buy cheaper fuel at different locations if seems they have accounted for that and block it.
Yea Z are pretty good with that. It won't show my sharetank balance if my phone is on charge
Why not? Weird
Peeps were leaving phones with friends or family and using them to buy fuel in one locstion and then redeem in another.
@Sharetank Dude "Don't forget the 28cpl subsity finishes in 55 days, or 8 weeks."
FYI its not a subsidy - its simply a Tax that they are not currently charging - Our own money they are not currently taking from us
Im am aware of how it works… just as i am aware it has been added onto our orher vehicle levys… which irronically will stay there when the price goes bqck up.
However… you are absolutely right.
When my friends ask me about sharetank, I always tell them it is an investment product. Every investment has the risk although the risk is very low but you need to know the risk before you do an investment. According to T&C on Z Sharetank, if Z cancel the sharetank, they will give you at least 90 days notice for you to use your fuels and no refund will be given. If this happens, I may be standing outside the Z station asking people to use my sharetank same as those people standing on the major intersections in AKL asking for donations :) . Anyway, sharetank is great product to save money on fuel.
BIG PRICE DROP COMING
Source?
I decided to pay off a bit more of my mortgage instead of "investing" in sharetank, due to the rising interest rates.
Not sure why you deviated from your usual Sharetank title style OP.
