0-149 litres = 0
150-249 litres = 5
250-499 litres = 10
500-999 litres = 25
1000 litres = 50
To your first question - Yes - you buy x litres and can use them at any Z.
To your second question - yes, it only allows you to buy fuel from Z stations within a 30km radius of your current location.
Also worth noting, you can't use/apply fuel discounts to sharetank. The price is the price pre AA fuel/etc discounts.
Is this the cheapest around upper north island? Going to Napier soon and wonder if I should stock up today or hold and pick up some cheaper deals along the way
Use gaspby app. You can input locations and check. Tauranga sometimes is cheap.
But surprisingly Auckland is nearly cheapest in the country right now

Papamoa Beach/Tauranga is the cheapest. Not on my route unfortunately.
Pat, we went from Auckland to napier today and I prepurchaed from z. There was That service station not tooooo far from tokorora/Taupoish area that is always cheap. Cant recall 91 price but diesel was $1.90/L. Be warned there was a queue and it was overflowing onto the road. They don’t have a lot of pumps either so IMO, not worth the wait, especially if you have kids.

Can someone explain how Sharetank work?
Is it like I can buy x Liters using the app at the price showing and then use it wherever I want?
If the Roscommon price doesn’t show up on my app, does it mean I’m too far from there and need to get closer?
