Was looking to upgrade our v6 and this one's hard to pass. Just a caveat though, it has smaller dust bin than v11 and v15 and lower suction power. But still a good deal.
Update:
Noel Leeming and Jb-hifi are offering the same price.

Dyson claims that the v11 is up to 60mins of battery life and hot swappable so it shouldn't be a big issue. Thanks for the tip though.
It's usually the charging controller that fails in these battery packs. I have taken quite a few apart and they have good quality 18650 LG batteries and found nothing wrong with them, not even a weak cell. If you have one that fails, take them apart check the batteries and reuse them. I've even repurposed them to use in the kids remote control toys.
This really says a lot about the product
“Don’t use a feature of the product unless you really need to or it kills the batteries”
You should be able to use any feature of a vacuum without fear it’s going to wreck it, especially at the price point. I have a Dyson Big Ball vacuum and have no issues with it, but obviously these stick ones aren’t built to the same standard
I could say the same thing as "Sports" mode in ICE vehicles. If you always drive on sports mode, say hello to engine degradation
And faster tire wear lol.
Same. I got dyson replaced my v6 battery twice under warranty.
Also when i got them replaced last November, they have a 25% off RRP of any Dyson stick vac that they have except the Gen5detect. I guess this is for current dyson owner where they're trying to get you to their latest gear
Heads up! Stocks are back up.
Same price Noel / Dyson / JB
OOS on Dyson's website. But yeah, they're all on special.
Top tip for the group is to keep your receipts obviously and hound Dyson if the batteries fail in a reasonable period.
We’ve replaced our V7 batteries twice since new for free via Dyson. Don’t use the turbo function unless you really need it but also generally I think the batteries are pretty poor.
