  Purchased one of these when they were $40. I liked it and thought it was pretty cool, so purchased another 2 when it went on clearance for $30. I think the price is worth it at the original price tag so this deal is great! Pretty cool effects. I highly recommend them if you are into lighting. Also FYI, these may be smaller than what you are expecting.

    By the three contacts (+ data -) and individual addressability, it looks like something along the lines of WS2812.

    Would be a steal just to strip down to it's components.

    That's usual for kmart I have found. Interesting to see if this goes anywhere.   Has anyone found that the doublesided on these is totally useless and just falls off despite cleaning the wall with isopropyl first? I will probably have to get some 3M VHB to hold it up.
