Am I being cynical or are these deals not all they're cracked up to be?
I went instore to Rebel Sport yesterday and purchased 3 items that totalled $49.97. They were running a 15% storewide discount so there was a $7.49 discount bringing the cash total to $42.48.
If I were to buy these online today (ignoring that I am 3c less than $50 spend) I'd pay $40.00 but as it's online only would, at a minimum, have to pay a click and collect fee of $3.00 bringing the total to $43.00.
These "offers" are not really offers just a way to make you feel like you're getting a bargain when really you're paying what they want you to pay.
I did notice yesterday though that Rebel offer the same 10% price beat and price promise as Briscoes do which is handy to know.
