You reckon is good enough if the only use would be getting my mums WFH setup done with 2 screens and charging?
This thing won't charge a laptop so you'd need a second power supply directly to the laptop. It uses a USB A to that weird extended micro USB 3.0 connector we had for a while.
If all you're after is dual HD monitors from a single cable I think this would be fine for most people. If you're happy to bide your time you can get second hand USB C docks on trade me at this price that will also handle charging.
Edit: I didn't see the DC out, so it might charge a laptop I'd it has the right connector included
Definitely not for gaming, but very handy if you have an M1 Mac or a non-thunderbolt windows laptop and want to run more than 1 external screen.
I have a Dell D6000, which has the same DL6900 chipset, and performance was perfectly fine for my programming/office work on 2 4k60 screens.
Although, great if you have an M1/M2 chip Mac as they don't natively support two external monitors, but DisplayLink enables that. Normally these DisplayLink docks are hundreds of dollars brand new.
This is a very slow dock because it uses DisplayLink; you're better off getting native video using a proper TB3 port, although I can't disagree with the price.
