they move discount day from end of month to the beginning?Or the fuel price going to decrease?
Yeah, didn't expect that, just filled up today :(
I did yesterday, you're not alone :)
15 cents off maybe?
91 is $2.087 at Gull Woolston in Christchurch according to Gaspy. Z Woolston is currently $2.189 for sharetank or $2.129 with pumped - wonder if they'll drop it any further to match Gull…
Thursday 4th morning: Cheapies, just a caution observation for us: we should be abit suspicious as to why Gull has changed and gone so early in this month of May for its Gull Day. Ok, as you may or may not know: the international pricing of the Brent crude oil type has fallen sharply overnight now down $10 USD from a few days ago or so, to close to $70 USD per barrel. The pricing level of Brent crude is a primary pricing indicator as to international petrol supply pricing, including us here in NZ. So if you don't need to fill up your vehicle tanks right now, you may wish to wait to see whether we see some significant falls in fuel pricing at the pumps in NZ in the week or so ahead…. 🤔
FWIW, they don't seem to have vouchers at their staffed sites or at least at Kingsland so I figure this isn't planned. Their previous ones are still valid if you still have them. I've often missed their 12 hours ones but first time I recall no vouchers in a long time even some slightly odd timing ones had vouchers
Thanks for that report Nils about no Gull vouchers being available. I use Gull vouchers, especially from Gull Kingsland. So I may now wait to fill up…. Again it suggests Gull are hastedly doing its Gull Day so early to try to get ahead of possible big falls in international petrol supply pricing ahead….?.
(Ok, an after thought: what are other Cheapies seeing about the Gull vouchers not being (or being !?) available at manned Gull stations , accross Auckland or elsewhere in the Motu today…..?).
Just as I filled up, shell drop the price further to $2.27.
Yeah i went to wiri and they weren't giving out new vouchers. Big queues for speedlane about 4c difference in price but if you have the current vouchers it would work out cheaper.
Edit: error
