While I was waiting for the 2TB version to become available in the Samsung Unidays "warehouse", an ad popped up on Facebook, showing me exactly what I was looking for.
I think this was the first time I willingly clicked on an ad.

Order via amazon AUS, fulfilled by amazon US.

Lowest price this seems to have hit locally is $228 so this sounds pretty good. Did you buy it and confirm the price on your statement? The amazon website isn't clear about whether it is displayed AU or NZ price, but the checkout price comes to $174.13 which google converts to 188.16, so it seems to display AUD.

Seems to include an automatic discount code too:

$10 off your first Amazon App purchase. Enter code 23SHOP at checkout.

    • ASB charged my visa card with $189.55.
The $10 voucher automatically added to my cart on check-out, if I'm remember correctly.

  • Good deal.

I recommend this heatsink - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004680126483.html (not the RGB version).

BTW - It's quite tall so check you are not blocking a needed PCEI slot.

  • Any thoughts on this or two 990 pro 1TB for $240 also from amazon

    • Answer my own question. If you want the best yes but it will be hard to notice differences with the extra speed for an average user.

  • The irony: I "created" this deal and my shipment got lost. Now amazon wants to refund me and telling me to order order it again, while I'm trying to convince them that I need the product for the initial price, and not for the actual one.
