I have one on my 980 pro and my 670p nvme drives. My RMA 4x 20TB drives finally arrived back from Seagate in hong kong today, so I'm doing an upgrade.
@kiwijunglist: Great. So you rma all 4 hdds? I bought only 1 20tb one. Actually wanted to go for 2x16tb but bad timing. Saw the deal in morning added to cart and got busy at work. Later only 20tb was left.
I have 670p and 970 evo I think. Got the same heatsink. Don't think they get that hot, but it's good to have peace of mind.
@ace310: Yes I got 4 faulty HDD and had to get special permission as you are only allowed to rma 3 "out of region hard drives". $130 courier cost to send them to Hong Kong. I decided paying an extra $130 was preferable to a refund from Amazon.

Answer my own question. If you want the best yes but it will be hard to notice differences with the extra speed for an average user.
The irony: I "created" this deal and my shipment got lost. Now amazon wants to refund me and telling me to order order it again, while I'm trying to convince them that I need the product for the initial price, and not for the actual one.
Lowest price this seems to have hit locally is $228 so this sounds pretty good. Did you buy it and confirm the price on your statement? The amazon website isn't clear about whether it is displayed AU or NZ price, but the checkout price comes to $174.13 which google converts to 188.16, so it seems to display AUD.
