These are really useful courses. I recommend these to every new (and old!) rider.

  • You can also get $200 for doing the gold course

    • Where does it say that?

      • On their website.

        • You need to have held your full license for 2 years and complete the gold course. You can apply for the rebate every 2 years.

  • Hopefully this is an ACC initiative to further fund it - and theres some south island providers jump on board due to do my gold this summer

    • Lol. While I guess ACC technically fund this - it's motorcyclists who pay for it with their $400+ a year licensing fee.

    • The discount/free Ride Forever courses come up every so often. ProRider do deals - especially in winter - for free courses in areas that don't have many people signing up.

  • I absolutely recommend doing these courses and have done a few myself.
This is the best way you can protect yourself (by having the right skills) while riding a motorbike.

And as a bonus, you get a day of riding disguised as training.
