I personally use them for my snacks, lunch etc. Keep it fresh….
Only downside is if you use Tumeric, but I think that dtains anything 🤣
I was told put the container under the sun, turmeric stain fade away
Enough space to fit 2 boiled eggs, nothing else. I use it for a cut-up apple for my kid's school lunch.
Ah am i thinking the size up perhaps…
Wonder if they’re trying to clear em out because it has been at this price since last week. Pukekohe had some good prices last week too. Was tempted to go there on my way back from Auckland to pick up the Sistema Bento 1.25l for $3.
Another option is to buy one (or two) from Spotlight + some other items to get your cart to $20, then use code CqpLFA3c ($10 off $20 spend)

Ooooo Creative!
Can we do price promise in Mitre 10 Waikato eventhough PnS is in Christchurch, do they allow it?
Yes you can
Absolutely
Thanks guys!
I'm gradually moving away from using anything plastic and trying to use metal products if possible. Heating these plastic containers deforms them and likely releases chemicals. I heat my lunches in a non plastic bowl. Metal too is going to end up in the landfill but there is a chance it won't pollute the environment with micro-metals unlike plastic.
1000% but i dont heat mine….
I switched to using glass boxes only for lunch boxes and freezing leftovers about 10 years ago. However plastic boxes are still useful for snacks or storing things like cheese in the fridge.
For the majority of things i agree… for bulk foods and snack stuff i still use BPA free stuff like this and the 1.8L containers.
Metal comes from the earth and space, and our bodies need it to survive, so it's definitely not going to be causing a problem like plastic is.
Metal containers are annoying though because they can't be microwaved. Glass is good but it's heavy and still needs a plastic and silicone lid. Plastic is disappointingly perfect for making food portable
Uhh don't heat plastic, put it into a ceramic bowl or plate. Or use glass. Plastic is only for storing/serving
Nice find thank you, are these big enough for a lunch?
