Woah. I can't even work out where it got that thumbnail from!
Changed the link to the product page. Poor MagSafe has disappeared.
Just picked one up in store. Dunno why it was only $14
Slow charging. Isn't it 15w standard? This is only 7.5w
Not too sure about other magsafe. But I currently use a wireless pad at 10w and sometimes it's inconvenient when I still need to use the phone. It's not bad for the price.
Maybe it is to get people in the store, because the online site does say it is $14 instore.
This model is made for the iphone 12 series (works with later iphones) so 3 years old, and only charge at 7.5W but asks for a 20W adapter. Wasting so much energy and make your battery hot.
Thanks, just went and got 3 (2 as gifts). Handy for traveling and plugging into usb c on macbook :)
FYI, these also work fine with airpods if you have the magsafe case.
Just wanna let everyone know I bought two wireless chargers from aliexpress for about $6 each which have been working great. Claimed 30w but it's 7.5w because it's not apple cert anyway, so I wouldn't know. Non-magsafe, but it's a great cheap options if you just want a charging pad for somewhere - I fashioned one under my car's din slot so when I put my phone inside the console pocket it starts charging in the car.
this is going back at the price during labour weekend sales.
