NZMCA one is better I might change the deal to that if thats okay?

      • Sure.

Whenever these things come up, just use pricespy.co.nz

These are a bit of a farce to drive traffic, they're very seldom cheaper than competitors.

Buuut also the charity part is good

  • Is it worth waiting to buy iPad on Black Friday or Boxing Day or this upcoming Noel Leeming discount promo? 🤔

    • +1

Apple hardware (including iPhones) is excluded from this promotion.

      • Haven’t read it properly. Sorry. Oh man :( i hope black friday or boxing day will have apple discounts tho…

        • +1

Noel Leeming and The Market have done 5% off Apple promos for the past couple of years in Nov/Dec. It's not always off all Apple products and no guarantees but you can only hope. The 5% discount is probably about as much as you will get.

Have you checked Apple Education store?

      • Whats the current easiest way to access this, or get an education email etc?

        • +1

You don't need anything as far as I know. Haven't bought recently, but bought an ipad last year with my regular apple id without any issues.

I don't think there is any verification in NZ.

Edit: If you have apple id, just logging using that and try to checkout.

    • They had 20% off the series 9 iPad last week if you just wanted a basic iPad. this model is discounted quite regularly.

JB hi-fi have a special on selected iPad models for the next couple of days I think, cost +GST if you’re still looking?

  • pls gaming laptop on sale

Dont get your hopes up. These are often not as good as you'd like

  • Anyone know if Kobos are worth getting with this deal? Especially the 7" and 8" ones (currently Libra and Sage). They don't seem to be excluded and don't go on special that regularly although yes Black Friday etc is coming up.

Also could someone check those two Kobos on CSCBG for me, never bothered to set up a Noel Leeming account with it.

Nevermind about the CSCBG question, decided not to be lazy. I tried CSCBG Main, CSCBG Premium and CSCBG Gold:

      • Kobo Nia 6" E-Reader - $189.00
No discount for any of them

      • Kobo Clara 2E 6" E-Reader 16GB - $279.00
        CSCBG Main - $271.71 (Save $7.29)
        CSCBG Premium - $276.56 (Save $2.44)
        CSCBG Gold - $274.14 (Save $4.86)

      • Kobo Libra 2 7" HD 32GB E Ink Carta Touchscreen - Black - $359.00
        CSCBG Main - $356.80 (Save $2.20)
        CSCBG Premium - No discount
        CSCBG Gold - No discount

      • Kobo Libra 2 7" HD 32GB E Ink Carta Touchscreen - White - $359.00
        CSCBG Main - $354.18 (Save $4.82)
        CSCBG Premium - No discount
        CSCBG Gold - $357.34 (Save $1.66)

      • Kobo Sage 8" HD 32GB Carta Display Touchscreen & Comfort Light - $519.00
No discount for any of them

      • Kobo Elipsa 2E 10.3" E-Reader& Stylus Bundle - $699.00
No discount for any of them

Note hopeful this deal will be better then these miserly deals since I don't think ereaders have much profit margin, have to wait for Kobo to offer a discount, but we'll see.

  • Shouldn't the code be working as of today?

    • +1

      Its working fine for me

      • Nvm, I was trying out smartphones, I guess I didn't come across any that were allowed to have the discount (tried a bunch of Samsung phones, they seem to be excluded)

        • I guess same for LTE watches

  • The number of these deals with Noel Leeming makes me think that they're not really deals. I think their "cost"+ x% is actually "store cost" not anything like their real cost.

  • Just posted this which may work out to be a better deal than this one, in case you are in Christchurch :)

  • Has anyone actually got a good deal with this yet??

    • I'm considering a JBL bar and this takes them down to the cheapest I've seen since the 1000 & 1300 were released. Holdindg out for black friday though to see if they go lower otherwise I'll jump on it next time one of these offers is on.

First time ever that you actually get a deal on thr Starlink…

    • +1

Underrated comment! I just looked at the Starlink Standard Kit and it's $311.83, compared to the RRP of $599.

    • +1

$318ish with CSC whenever you want. Used to be way cheaper though.

  • Forgot to mention, SuperGold version finishes on the 19th (most, if not all others finish on the 12th).

    SuperGold

  • Gives me $0.55c off Zelda Botw, so games may not be greatly discounted…
