  FYI Discount is for new customer or upgrade only.

  So for most people it's not even taking the price back to rrp of last year

    I managed to purchase the subscription as an exsisting customer, It just added on to the end of my exsisting subscription.

      How did you do that? There is no option to purchase my existing level at the special price, only if I upgrade to Deluxe

        I certainly had the option, it let me select the exsisting "essentials" plan and pay a full years price … May have something to do with mine expiring in Dec though?

        I just went into the PS app on my phone, subscriptions and the option came up.

  I will not be renewing this time around and mines expires next month. Last great monthly game was Call of Duty Cold War. I guess it is back to buying games that I want to play.

    this is how i feel, i think the most ive paid is just over $60 but this new subscription is so much more i feel like its just not worth it for us

    yeah even the ones on the top tier are mostly pretty mid
    I caved in though and got 1 more year of essential after letting my last one lapse, I miss being able to play online before bed. Hope theres at least one or two decent games on the free monthlys this year. Otherwise it's back to buying used discs from cash converters and trademe.
