These hardly ever go on sale so seems like a decent price

We have a different version of Miele and it seems to be working well

Good deal, but I wouldn't recommend bagless even with good brands like Miele.

    really?i i got a kmart bagless and a friend has the warehouse one and they are both good.
    i got it because i need a motorised brush head for carpet.
    i use the dyson v8 but an electric one is still needed.

    I don't know what Dyson it was you tried, but my Dyson is pretty powerful.
    Alright I just double checked, the Miele CX1 has a respectable suction power of 422AW, while the Dyson Gen5 has 369AW. Anything above 250AW seems powerful to the average consumer.
