    What's the normal frequency for these offer? I got a plan expiry in April, should I take this offer or hold out for one closer to expiry?

      They do run offers several times a year and usually you would expect another one prior to your April expiry.
      Unfortunately no one knows for sure so it’s a gamble.
      Also, even if they do have another deal it may not be a BOGOF or 50% off. Offers of only 30% off have also happened.

      If you buy this offer you can still wait until the 31st Jan to activate but you will lose the remainder of your current plan - so between 2 and 3 months.

    Anyone successfully ported their number?
    I actually had tried (unsucessfully) the day before this promo even started. Several chats later, Kogan now say that there is an outage since Wednesday for porting (not calls or data). So still waiting!

      Normally yes, but no one can say for sure. Last year it came on 19th. This year it came on 22nd. Kogan usually does the different deal multiple times a year. BOGOF, 50%, 40%,30% etc. This year small was excluded from the deal.

      Search Cheapies to get more accurate timeline.

      If you have selected the SIM card option at the time of order, you will get an email to say the the item has been shipped with a delivery ETA.
      For me the email was the next day. Might take longer with a promo being on & now Christmas holidays.

      Yes, I also have (see comments above). I attempted in November and then again the day before promo and still waiting. Everytime I chat (they don't have a phone number?) they insist that all will be well and reset the dashboard so I have to wait another 24 hours …and then nothing. I've given up. The chat Bots do understand the word 'Refund' so you can get your money back easily (takes a week to show up)

    Warning for true cheapies that are waiting until the very last minute to renew their plan. This doesn't give you a full year
    I started my plan on 30/12/22 at 10pm and when I logged into my account yesterday it said "2 days remaining, Expires on 30 Dec 2023" so I guessed it would expire at 10pm tonight.
    When I went out this morning I had no data and couldn't make calls and realised it had expired.

    Very disappointing, I will be demanding a full refund /s
