I find that my coffee machine struggles with old coffee beans. Have to grind very fine to get a semi decent extraction. Not worth it IMO.
Depends on the grinder. If it's a blade grinder, I probably wouldn't even bother with beans. In saying that though, it's still be fine in a moka pot, which is what I typically use anyway.
Could be good for cold brew if they're pretty old
I second using these for cold brew. As they are likely 10+ months old I wouldn't use for espresso
I'm a tight ass but Expensive Fresh coffee > cheap old coffee.
I'm snobby about coffee but these Warehouse beans are actually pretty good when they're fresh.
Great to use to re-season your grinder after cleaning. Save them expensive beans for actual coffee!
Can anyone confirm if they set the Best before date on their coffee beans at 10 or 12 months?
If anyone decides to grab a any of these beans chuck them straight into the freezer. This will help to retain their freshness up to this point.
