      In my experience at my local Warehouse the pricematch goes through fine even if they have the 2 for $12 bundle deal but I normally only buy 1, however a couple weeks back I went and purchased two and the operator had to price match it as 2 individual items or something along those lines because it wouldn't pricematch due to the existing bundle so may depend per store or what the operator knows/is willing to do.

    LOL its a pricing error! But get in quick. I drove to Fresh choice thinking they have more variety than warehouse. But when i got there, to my shock the price is 5.69 as with the other stores.
    I quickly went to warehouse and price matched.
    I assume this will be updated tomorrow morning or there after.

    Get in quick!

    Price is back to 5.49.

    I have never done a price match before. But I found the Tnc on the warehouse website. Does it mean we have 7days to price match start from today eventhough the price has reverted back to 5.49?

    *I have the screenshot of 2.49 price.

      At my local warehouse they don't really verify the legitimacy of the deal and just take whatever I show them on my phone at face value, I could probably get away with an edited price or screenshot but I wouldn't do or recommend that.

      It's interesting because the T&C's say in brackets (current and dated), however my interpretation is that 'current' conflicts with the '7 days of purchase or lower price being advertised.'

      I'd just try my luck if I were you.

        I went to a check out. The lady did ask with every scan if it was the same price (got 14 blocks). She confused herself with the current store deal of 2 for $12 and checked with a manager if i could still get a price match.

        I also picked up some blocks from the whanganui store

    It's always a battle at my local store to get a price promise on groceries outside of my area, so don't normally bother, but I thought it was definitely worth it for $2.49 Whittakers.

    She argued the point even after showing her the dated screenshots and mentioning the price promise guarantee within 7 days. She then proceeded to say she has to be able to see it live on her device. I then pulled up the PP on TWH site and read this to her:

    •Product must be in stock at both our store and the competitor’s store at the time of the price promise request and must take place within 7 days of the price being advertised by the competitor.

    She still told me it's not right… But it's hard to argue when it's right there. I ended up with x10 bars in total and spent an extra $140 on other groceries that I otherwise wouldn't have.

    I don't know why retail employees take it so personally… She walked away in a very grumpy mood and possibly ruined her day. I walked away happy and said thank you.

      Yeah neither, not like it gets docked from your pay or something. Could be pressure from management or corporate, unlikely but who knows.

    I managed to price match at TWH Albany, they just looked at the screenshots from Hartaru and no questions asked. Got 20 blocks too, stoked.
