New old stock? Pretty sure they haven't made these for years

It hasn't returned, this is most likely unsold stock. Or refurbished units being sold as-new.
The seller is a third party store called "Go Ahead!" https://www.amazon.com/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=A22QGPQSJF923G&asin…

Their feedback is less than 90% positive. Some people who bought the Chromecast reported receiving UK plugs.

  • Noted caught out by the way Amazon is representing it……

  • Perhaps they become collectors items I should sell my two https://tinyurl.com/2bwontqn

    • They are pretty rare now, especially if you have a sealed one. Kind of Hamish of got some spares when they were clearing them out but I e only got my single unit paired with other speakers. It was a strange thing to just abandon them, if they weren't profitable they could have easily sold them to audiophiles for more money as they seemed to be the main audience for the product and is the sort of market that's willing to pay more than what google charged for something that works like they did.

Instill look back and laugh at Logitech who a suited squeeze then killed it off just home streaming became popular. We could have had a great system to rival Sonos using the UE and squeeze brands but nope, sent to die with to how the brand was used.

      • Yep they were a good idea. Way better than the Bluetooth dongle you have to use today. I have one on my hi-fi system but a lot of the newer models have wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in so I suppose demand has dropped.
