  This is amazing value for a 1080p monitor. I don't even need one yet i'm so tempted to jump on this.

  -1080p is arguably the best resolution for gaming in terms of performance. GPU's from 5-10 years ago will still be able to push this bad boy to good framerates
  -24inch is the perfect size for gaming as it's easy to see everything on screen without having to move your neck or eyes around too much
  -165hz will make motion buttery smooth which is the biggest benefit here over your typical 60hz monitor. This also helps to lower input lag in games.
  -GSYNC/Freesync eliminates screen tearing while gaming (the horrible glitching effects which occurs when your framerate and refresh rate aren't aligned)
  -IPS allows for vibrant colours and wide viewing angles. This could also be this monitors biggest drawback as this technology suffers from IPS glow (a faint shimmer which is mostly noticeable at night) and backlight bleed, which makes dark content look bright, especially near the screen edges (however again, this is mostly noticeable at night)

  If you have a kid who plays games like fortnite on an office monitor (60hz) then this will be a huge upgrade for them. There are definitely better monitors out there, however hard to go wrong at this price.

    Hey, I missed this deal but my 14 year old is looking to upgrade from a 24" Business Monitor. He uses an Xbox Series S usually.. can you recommend a good upgrade? His budget is less than $300 but if there was an amazing deal we could push it through as a birthday or xmas gift.

      Plenty of monitors under $300.00 that would work with an Xbox Series S.
      However is there specific specs your 14 year old is wanting?

      What I mean is that the 24" Business Monitor would certainly do the job for the Xbox, what would be the key features that your (son/daughter/other) would like?
