There was deal posted by Stoic recently (https://www.cheapies.nz/node/46213) on how to get free shipping on Temu. I thought I'd share another Temu trick that I came across.
Temu used to offer instant refunds (in the form of Temu credits) on any order you have and that is really good compared to the likes of Aliexpress. But recently, I've noticed that Temu doesn't let you request for refunds if the item is more than a certain price range. Anything that is >$20 will require you to return the item before you can get a refund. The return itself is free (they provide instructions on organizing a free courier), but it's still a hassle.
Turns out that you can just ask for refund directly with the Temu chat bot. You don't even need to provide photos/videos and an explanation of why a refund is required (which is what you'd normally have to do). Here's what that process looks like:

Sometimes, you might be transferred to an agent automatically:

Despite this, the item that you've requested the refund for will still go through. I've gotten the credit directly into my Temu account and also received a notification email from Temu as well.
What I found interesting is that this one time I accidentally selected the wrong order for the refund request, I then received the refund (about $50) for that order and was then transferred to an agent, then after speaking to the agent I got another refund for the actual order:

Their system seems to be bugged. You can get a refund on any order regardless if you speak to an agent or not. And even if you do, just ask for refund without return and you'll get the refund anyway. I got about $120 worth of refund for 3 different orders (one being a selection mistake on my part) within the span of 2 minutes.
Note that I'm not condoning or encouraging anyone to exploit this. Just sharing this tip to make it easier to request for refunds for legitimate reasons. I sometimes have bad orders from Temu due to faulty/broken parts and so I've had to request refunds a few times and this is by far the simplest and easiest process that I know so far.
I would not recommend abusing the refund system
Temu is a great supply of needing basics like sponges cotton buds, scouring pads and many other everyday shit you need for much cheaper prices than warehouse/bunnings/dollar stores offer (especially with the temu coupons)
Loosing access and/or ability for refunds would be the worst.
