I've found them to be pretty good for the price.
They ain't no Energizer, but they do a decent job for the 'usual' stuff around the house.
Funny that the 2x 5 Star Reviews are both from JayCar staff members.
does Jaycar send a confirmation email after placing the order?
Ordered some, thanks OP. (No order confirmation email as yet).
If they were AAA, I would purchase.
You can get 5 20pks of AAA from Tradedepot for about that price.
Thanks! I've never shopped there and didn't know they had cheap alkaline batteries. $5.50 for 20pk, that must be the cheapest you can get in the country?
Yeah, I was eyeing out these a while back but never got them because they look budget and don't show the capacity. I went with tradetested as their batteries were just as good as energizer.
At what price would you stock up?
I find they tend to leak a lot in certain electronics… I have some LED sensor night lights and they've totally leaked inside these and this is when they still have charge in them, I just notice the LED getting dim over less than 5 months so go to change them and have to deal with battery acid leakage.
Use rechargeables instead?
OMG..same battery?
Just make sure you actually have a use case for 100 of these batteries within the next 2-3 years, otherwise they'll start to leak within the box.
I have ordered to collect from a store. The auto address did not work but OK to enter address manually. Also not received any confirmation email as they said would happen so suggest if anyone orders they take screenshot of completed order.
By the way I have a Large Kogan Mobile voucher spare that needs to be activated by 31st May if anyone wants for $170. The original page with the offer in cheapies will not accept any more comments.
Got these today from the Newmarket store. The manager thought his computer had a pricing error and had to double check :)
Are these good batteries?
