  • " - Payment made using TEMU Credit or TEMU Coins will not be applicable for Cashback"

Does that mean if any sort of Temu credit even if it a few dollars or cents, le if you spend $60 bu used $4.54 credit then the whole order won't be eligible?

    • I won't trust it. My last 3(& first time using shopback) transactions didn't get tracked. 2 of them had part payment as credit. But in general, I have seen there is no golden rule for transactions getting tracked. Similar experiences found on Ozbargain as well. I am kind of moving back to Cashrewards if there is cashback available even if for less amount.

Yeah agree - my order didn't get tracked last time as well, and they are still investigating after nearly 2 weeks. Hopefully it's just a one off.
Kiwiwallet and cashrewards have usually been a little more reliable (when I requested for a missed cashback on Kiwiwallet, it got loaded pretty quickly).

      • Same, the doordash order wasn't tracked and still investigating. Not having a high hope.

Ouch, that's one expensive dinner. Good I didn't bother using Doordash.

      • Tracking with ShopBack has always been poor, never had any issues with Cashrewards.

        • @Huntakillaz @ace310 @MYB @spam, we apologize for any inconvenience. Kindly DM us your email, and we'll escalate this with our team. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

    • @Huntakillaz thanks for your question and we have clarified with the TEMU team. Please note that if TEMU Credit or TEMU Coins are used in your order, the Cashback earned will be based on the final amount paid, minus the usage of TEMU Credit or TEMU Coins.

Can we still use coupons on Temu?

    • @penguinez yes, payment made with coupons are eligible for Cashback. However, do note that payment made using TEMU Credit or TEMU Coins will not be applicable for Cashback.

  • Anything to be aware of with installing this on your browser? CC, personal details, crap you shouldn't put out on the internet that dodgy gits would make use of?

    • @fatboyj our web extension (ShopBack Button) only collects data on shopping sites that ShopBack works with. We do not collect browsing data from your search engine history, any information from your emails or information on websites that do not work with ShopBack.

For a more comprehensive understanding of our web extension data policy, please refer to this article https://support.shopback.co.nz/hc/en-gb/articles/27974875381…. Hope this helps!

  • How do you get the Cashback challenge? I can't anything on the website about this?
Does this apply to users who have signed up but have not made a purchase yet?

    • @olliejames thanks for your question! The challenge is only accessible via the ShopBack app, and will only be available for new ShopBack users, who have signed up but have not made a purchase yet. Hope this clarifies!

  • Lame new signups get more bonuses now than when shopback was new last month :(

@Huntakillaz our promotions change up regularly and we try to cater to all our users. But stay tuned as we have a lot of exciting promotions coming your way for our early adopters!

  • How exactly does this work? Who is paying for the 30% and how are they paying for it? Is this just data collection that's then being sold to cover the cashback?
The ShopBack website provides zero information on how its model operates and it's somewhat concerning.

    • @chunder Great question and we're glad you asked :) ShopBack operates under an affiliate business model - we partner with various stores to provide customers like you with deals and monetary incentive in the form of Cashback when you make a purchase through ShopBack. These stores pay us a commission for every sale we bring to them, and we pass on a portion of that commission to our customers as Cashback.

At ShopBack, we are committed to keeping your information safe. We are also transparent about what kind of information we access, necessary information that we collect and why we need it. For a more comprehensive explanation of our data privacy practices, please refer to this article: https://support.shopback.co.nz/hc/en-gb/articles/27094182060…. We hope this clarifies!

  • Anyone here have a successful tracking for Temu and how long did it take?

I used the Shopback mobile app to order, no tracking after about 18 hours

    • @Adrenaline Your Cashback may take up to 2 days to be tracked. If it still does not appear in your Cashback account after 2 days, please file for a Missing Cashback Form (MCB) on our app or website and our team will process it accordingly. Thank you!

      • Hi, when can we start withdrawing the cash back? Got the $30 from the New world deal but I'm still not able to withdraw the $30 yet, is that normal?

        • After 3 months

  • Too bad I didnt view the comments before signing up to see that it's a common issue. 2 days passed and it didnt get picked up despite going through the app. Now i'll have to jump through hoops. Not a great first impression

  • Ugh. All of the cash back websites seem useless. Nothing ever picks up iHerb

  • Wife placed an order last night and no sign as yet of any activity on the account. Will give it another day before filing the MCB form.

  • Anyone get all their transactions tracked, i only got 4 of the 6 purchases i made :'(
