I've just tried to checkout and have noticed the $35 minimum spend has been added back on after making numerous orders without any. I asked the chatbot to remove it again and it wouldn't let me. Looks like too many people have been taking advantage of this. Anyone had any luck removing it again?

It shows exclusive free shipping for me until you try to checkout.
Same,my minimum spend is now $40 instead of $35😡
Mine still says $35. Maybe they are going up $5 every so often. The issue is that you can't even chose to pay less and then pay for shipping, like you can with Aliexpress.
Damn gone back to $45 for me
All good for me on a $6.50 order. Hope it stays that way!
Unfortunately mine has gone up to $45 too. It was still free yesterday.
I've heard of another work around but haven't tried it yet. You can add in something extra to make your order over the minimum spend amount and pay for the order. You can then cancel the extra item and they'll refund you for that item and still send the rest.
If I try to cancel items, it is asking me to cancel the full order. Didn't click through as not sure if there is confirmation screen or it will just cancel everything. Maybe someone who has tried out can say more.
Haven't tried what Stoic suggested yet, but in terms of getting a refund, here's a guide that may help in case anyone has trouble with it.
Just tried it and it works. My item is still scheduled for delivery.
I used about $26 of credit to pay for part of the order and got that refunded too, no issues.
Same thing. I was going to mention tyis myself.
45 dollars minimum and couldn't get bot to remove it again
Yeah seems it's over and now aliexpress is doing a similar thing with MOQ. Is there a good alternative?
Damn, mine's back to $40 now as well.
If they are going to play that game, can you setup a new account?
How would that make a difference?
New accounts have previously had lower minimum spends, not sure about now though.
cheapied - with all the people doing it from the last post (on how to remove it) :D
TBH we all know it wasn't going to last especially with people making orders under $20 and left nothing for the company.
I saw no minimum spending on the web this morning while the app had. Both are now on $40 minimum spending. Could be a system glitch.
Mine is $35. When I first setup the account is as $20
They seem to be cracking down, even on the coupons. After some level of arguing with the chat person, best they would offer was a $5 coupon which was not worth the effort - no way no how to change the min spend, she/they claimed they have no ability anymore.
Have you tried making a new account, whats the min shipping on that?
I just tried setting up a new account and it is $35 on it. They seem to be increasing the minimum spend by a massive % in a short period.
If you look at the coupons section under your account, you should see a couple of them that requires a minimum spend of $50 to use. Just buy a few things to match that spend and then get a refund. Your coupon would still apply and you'd get free shipping for meeting the $40 minimum spend.
Unfortunately mine is blank . Might have to make a new account.
The problem we Wellingtonians face is having only one Aramex location in the Hutt. It requires almost a 60km round trip to return items to Temu, and they seem to only be open on weekdays according to their website. Super annoying to do returns nowadays.
iirc they are talking about ordering extra stuff you don't want then after paying(before its shippped) requesting a refund on that item so its removed from that order and refunded to you while still giving you FS on the remaining items under $40 total.
ie you order $55 of stuff($25 of that being an item you didn't want) and get FS, refund the $25 item before it ships and you end up paying $30 with FS.
@Dunno: Correct. Actually, "return" is not the right word here. You simply cancel the items that you don't want. It never gets shipped and you get your money back. The other items that didn't get cancelled will still be shipped.
You misunderstood.
Let's say the item you actually want to buy is $20. To get free shipping, it'll cost say $40. You just add extra stuff to your order to make up the $40 free shipping. Once the order is placed, you immediately go and cancel the items you DON'T want in your order. You'll instantly get your money back in the form of Temu credit, which you can spend on other things next time. OR, you can get it refunded to your original payment (may take a few days). Your overall order isn't cancelled, just that some items in your order got cancelled. The order will still be processed, meaning that your $20 item that you DO want will get shipped free of charge.
There is NOTHING to physically return here.
Yes, I just saw someone mentioning it on Facebook. Gone burger
